We have a clear target. Cancer awareness, in particular Breast Cancer Awareness for Men!
Bret Miller is a seemingly normal 24 year old, athletic, healthy guy, that has had this mass in his right breast for some time . Doctors have always said "let's keep an eye on this." During Bret's last check up they decided to find out what the mass was.
It turns out it is a form of Cancer, and Bret is dealing with it head on with the support of his family. As Bret begins his Fight Against Cancer, he realizes that he is not alone. The out pouring of support from friends and family has made it clear that there are many people affected by a large variety of cancers every day. Bret wants to help other men be aware of their own bodies, CHECKTHEM.org will try to be a source of available information, support and direction for anyone that needs help for themselves.

Major Breast Cancer Self-Exam Project
The Bret Miller 1T Foundation is actively perusing donations to raise funds for a Massive video project for our great friends at The National Consortium of Breast Centers.
We would ask for your help in any way you are able, from yourself personally, from your company, which ever way you can find in your heart to help this project. There is nothing like this available anywhere, and we feel that it will help save lives! It's awareness plain and simple, but done in a professional, clinical setting, helping anyone to learn to do a self exam.
Please help us do what ever you can, and please pass this on to your friends and family for their help.
This is a snipet from the the NCBC asking for your donations, Click on the letter to get the packet of information "The National Consortium of Breast Centers is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, implementation and expansion of breast center programs to allow professionals to be informed of the most up-to-date breast care techniques and options available to patients. The NCBC seeks to produce a professionally developed set of videos teaching proper Clinical Breast Examination techniques for professionals and teaching Breast Self-Examination for patients as early detection tools to ultimately reduce breast cancer deaths."

Did You See what I got to do?!! KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) - Sunday (Oct 9th) is a big day in Kansas City as the NASCAR Sprint Cup runs around the Kansas Speedway, but Thursday was a big day for another group of racers. This group is driving for their lives. It was a ride of a lifetime and it was more about celebrating a life. Fifteen Kansas City area breast cancer survivors had a chance to hop in a car and fly around the Kansas Speedway. Thursday was also Julie Luttmon's 50th birthday. "Three years ago today I had my surgery, and so rather than celebrate my birthday in years, I'm celebrating my birthday for life," said Luttmon. After surviving breast cancer, every day is a ride in the fast lane. "It's a journey that a lot of men and women go through and respect what few of us get to experience and you come out on the other side being very thankful," Luttmon said. It was also a ride for life for 25-year-old Bret Miller. He's the nation's youngest male breast cancer survivor. For Miller, the ride was nothing compared to the ride he's taken the last year. "It is a very rare case for men to get it… mostly in their 60s," he explained. "My main purpose now is to get the word out to young and old men and women because a lot of women are getting it younger." To date, the Pink Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR Pace Car has raised over $30,000 for the American Cancer Society.
